Why Penworth?

We Care About Our Clients

Penworth Properties was started over 10 years ago by local business woman, Beth Penman. Beth recognised the need for a local estate agent who knew the market inside out and who could engage more personally with clients. And with today’s recent surge of faceless, online-only estate agents emerging — often with very little or no knowledge of the area they are selling — this need has been even further reinforced.

Over the years we’ve sold homes in Kilsyth, Cumbernauld, Milton of Campsie, Bonnybridge, Lennoxtown, and even further afield in areas like Lenzie and Glasgow’s East, South and West End. Our in-depth knowledge of the local market means we can give you guidance on anything and everything — schools, amenities, transport links etc. And if we don’t know straight away, we’ll find out for you.

Our clients come from all walks of life and with varying needs. We cater for them all, offering the same brand of friendly, yet professional, advice — at no additional cost. If you simply require us to sell your home, that’s no problem. Or if you require a complete end-to-end service, we work in tandem with a range of trusted financial and legal firms to get the job done.

In fact, our support goes above and beyond the transaction of buying or selling a home. If you need a tradesman — we’ve got contacts. If you need advice on an investment property — put the kettle on. If you need help with viewings when you’re on holiday — no problem. These are just a few examples of how we have helped clients in the past. We really do care about our clients, and it’s for this reason they return to us time & time again.

Supporting Our Local Community

We care about our clients. Equally, we care about our local community. As a local business operating in the Kilsyth and surrounding areas, we feel it is important to put something back into the community. A percentage of the fee from every house we sell goes towards local charities and good causes, so selling your property with Penworth Properties means you are also supporting your local community.

Beth lives in the town with her family and is always looking for opportunities to support the community. Over the years Beth has devoted her time and effort — along with offering monetary support — to local groups and clubs including:

  • Kilsyth Civic Week
  • The Rotary Club
  • Kilsyth Community Group Football
  • Campsie Football Club
  • Strathcarron Hospice
  • Kilsyth Lennox Golf Club
  • Kilsyth Athletic Football Club
  • Garrell Vale Junior Badminton
  • St Patricks School Book
  • Beatson Cancer Research
  • And many more charitable causes.
